Valencia and history
Located on the east coast of Spain, Valencia is the third largest city after Madrid and Barcelona. Founded in 138 C.E. by a Roman consul, it was originally called Valentia Edetanorum.
It was the capital of the Kingdom of Valencia in the Middle Ages. Culturally, Valencia is a vibrant city, with a respect for its past and its many historical monuments.

Agriculture, tourism and trade(cars, furniture) make up the economic backbone of the city. Valencia is also home to prestigious events such as Formula 1 and Americas Cup. In addition, Valencia is incredibly popular for its festive atmosphere, especially around the time of Las Fallas - a week long celebration, and San Juan.
